GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Scope Guide (All Access Points)
Is there a better alternative to this game? Like GTA without being GTA?
(WARNING: Major salt below. Like freaking Dead Sea levels of salt.)
Like holy shit. For a game that's been out for 7 years you'd think it would be able to function at a playable level or at least have some semblance of balance. I just wanna a good online crime sim with cool vehicles and weapons but everything in this game is ridiculously inflated to the point where you could 'grind' for hours and still only be able to afford a fraction of a car (Even the cars that have been from updates from YEARS ago have not gone down in price, like what the hell? I can't even access any of the cool shit in Story Mode either which is beyond infuriating). 'grinding' is essentially impossible in the conventional sense because you'll spend hours on ridiculously difficult missions fighting waves of bullet sponges for scraps of a chance for money. The constant errors and glitches don't help either. Take the heist prep delivery glitch for the yellow circle for example. Over a year ago my heist supplies just would'nt deliver for the Diamond Casino to the point where I couldn't progress at all. A year later and the same glitch is still present in the Cayo heist where I spend like 12 minutes getting shot at with supplies only to find I can't enter the Kosatka. Like really Rockstar? Over a year and you still haven't fixed this? I can send support tickets but they all lead to the response of 'oh we're aware and working on it!' Well clearly you aren't if its been this long! Don't even get me started on griefing, like who the fuck decided adding in the Specter from Saints Row was a good idea?! I absolutely LOVE getting fucking nuked by a dozen fucking depressors that I can't fight back against.
I really wish there was a strong competitor in the open world video game market to take Rockstar down a notch. Its super ripe for the taking seeing as how low the bar is with the state of online today. FiveM definitely has the right idea but even that is just a derivative of GTA. GTA Online is a game designed for junkies, to keep you glued to a screen spending hours to get overpriced items in hopes you'll just cave and buy microtransactions (which are also fucking overpriced. The Megalodon card is 8 mil and cost $99. 8 mil gets you like 1 property with all upgrades, FFS a yacht is 9 mil. You're telling me a virtual boat is worth 3x the retail price of your game? What kind of brain dead toddlers are buying these things?!)
If you're playing GTA Online in 2021, you've gotta be a fool, a junkie, or a masochist. Like fuck, there's gotta be a better alternative open world game than this shit. It has rekindled my interest in building a gaming rig just to play FiveM.

What I'd Like to see in Updates going forward.
EDIT: Realized I forgot to add a TLDR so here goes nothing lol:
Buy a mansion and have AI run your MC businesses, CEO businesses, and Bunker. Start a crew of AI and start building yourself up as a kingpin. Then, buy a customizable private island and start a cartel. Open up massive labs and add entertainment for tourists, if you so desire. Compete against AI-run cartels for control of major cities in the GTA universe (Even ones that aren't accessible in GTA online). Become allies with other cartels or enemies. Topple other cartels and take control of their assets. (Islands, territory, production, etc.) Go head to head with the government like Pablo Escobar did or stay more lowkey like the Cali Cartel.
Now I want to preface this by saying I have no insider information whatsoever. This is literally just what I’d like to see going forward in this game.
So moving forward after the Cayo Perico heist (which is the best money maker in the game by far) I’m not really sure where there is to go for Rockstar. I highly doubt they want to make something that pays even better than this because of shark card sales. So from here, I think they could head in a slightly different direction than heists with every other update.
-The Mansion Update: The apartments in-game are borderline useless for everything but the garage. You can do the original heists but that’s about it, unfortunately. I’d love to see mansions added into the game with the highest-end one being something like 20 million and the lowest end being say 5 million. From the mansion, you can get a central area to control all your businesses. Maybe you can get a massive garage with this. (A 40-60 car garage like the CEO office) Beyond this, you can start a crew and have them work under you as dealers for your various businesses (MC, Bunker, Nightclub, Vehicle warehouse, and Crates). You have to pay the dealers say 10-20 grand a day but they manage your business and sell them for you and pay you the money. You can also give them secondary tasks like going to collect money from your businesses, etc.
Now the big update
-The Cartel Update: Owning the mansion will be a precursor to all this content. With this update, you would be able to buy your own private island. My thought is it would be extremely expensive. Starting at around 30 million and going up to say 80-100 million. With this update, you can take the crew that you had with your mansions and expand it to become your own cartel. All of your businesses would run through this. Bunker, MC, CEO, and any others you may have. You’ll have bigger and better labs and warehouses on this island than you do in LS but you’ll still own the ones in LS. You can hire hitmen and enforcers or even hire old characters from prior DLC’s as these roles. (Vincent, for example) You’ll be able to employ drug dealers such as the Madrazo’s and new ones too. They employ dealers and move your product. They get a percentage based on how good they are. Eventually, they’ll be able to move all the products you can produce across all businesses. For example, the Madrazo’s could be good at moving your drugs but then not be very good at moving your weapons and vice versa with a new character. You’ll be able to choose which dealer moves which product. You can get your products and shipments seized and again that will depend on the quality of dealers you employ.
The Island itself will be originally blank except for a small airport. It will cost money to build labs and bunkers for your island but they will be worth it. They will be much bigger and able to store way more product and completely AI-controlled and maintained. You’ll start out with a smaller house on one side of the island that you can designate as your residency space. You can build guard towers and security checkpoints which will help boost the morale of your employees as well as keep your island safer from enemy cartels and the government. You can build entertainment spaces like a casino and nightclub or even a nightclub if you want to have tourists come to your island. This will be a security risk, of course, but will bring in money for you. You’ll be able to build garages below your home on the island and store whatever cars there that you want. You would be able to build yourself a race track if you wanted to. If you run out of room on your island you’ll be able to upgrade your island to a bigger one with a slightly different layout. It certainly would not be cheap but you’d have more space. Once you run out of space on the biggest island that’s as big as your cartel will be able to get until you topple other cartels and take control of their operations.
Now the big part of this DLC would be the AI-controlled cartels and government. We have one cartel in the game now to some extent (El Rubio) and you’ll be able to interact with these cartels. You’ll be able to choose what to say to them and how you handle business. If you choose to be offensive towards them and take over their territory they won’t like that which will start beef between you and them. You can have wars and, if you play your cards right, topple the cartel and take its resources and territory. You can also ally with other cartels and use each other’s routes and just generally help each other out.
If you topple another cartel (AI-controlled) you take control of their resources such as their island, territory, and supply lines. You can annoy other cartels if you wish by selling in their territory, robbing them (Cayo Perico heist), and killing their soldiers. This will make them less trusting of you if you do it obviously but if you’re careful they’ll be less trusting of everyone. Including any allies they have and this can be used to weaken them and hopefully topple them. The goal would be to become the biggest drug lord in the world which would probably mean toppling other big cartels. Play your cards right and these cartel leaders will have their guards lower around you and your cartel and you can make a move against them and kill them and topple the cartel swiftly. Of course, none of your allies would trust you anymore but you would have toppled a cartel and given yourself more control. The territory would be split up with you selling in LS and other cartels arguing over Vice City, Liberty City, Las Venturas, San Fierro, London, Capital City, etc. These areas would not be able to be traveled to but you would be able to see which cartel controls which cities and the cities population and a few other stats. Any cities added in future games that came to GTA online as free-roam areas would be added to that list, of course.
You can be a high profile drug lord like El Chapo and Pablo Escobar or you could be more low profile like the Cali Cartel. These are the two extremes but you can always fall somewhere in the middle. You can raise your public opinion meter by giving out money, building apartment buildings, parks, etc. With this update, there would be elections introduced. Only for President and maybe one or two other government roles but they can be elected and they’ll have different stances on issues that directly affect you. One can be hard on the cartels or another can be more lenient and open to working with them. If you want to go the low profile route you can try and rig the election in favor of the candidates you want to win. Of course, this won’t always work but you can always try. If you go the high profile route you can just assassinate (or attempt to, depending on how good your hitmen are) the candidate you want to lose. You’ll also have a meter of popularity and at each point the citizens of the country will either love you or they’ll hate you. The higher your popularity the easier it is to conduct business, higher prices for your products and if the government ever decides to launch a manhunt against you the citizens won’t help the government catch you. This will be seen as you’ll be able to move around LS and any other new cities freely and all you have to do is just stay away from police stations as much as possible. If you commit a crime or are seen near the police station you’ll instantly get a 5 star wanted level that you can’t cancel using Lester. If you use a CEO ability or any of your cartel abilities to try and bribe the police it’ll only take it from a 5 star to a 4 star. If your relationship with the public is bad it will be much harder to move around the city. There’ll be police checkpoints near any businesses, homes, or offices you have. You will be able to get around them but it won’t be easy. On your island, you’ll be completely safe and won’t have to worry about getting wanted. Of course, there will be a limit to how much stuff you can do before the government steps in, in a much bigger way. If your cartel kills too many politicians, cops, or other government officials the manhunt will become much larger and more intense. By this point, the relationship you have with the people will be essentially down the drain so everything with the low relationship will apply in this situation.
If your relationship is this bad you will essentially be staying on your island and away from the mainland because it won’t be safe for you. But periodically, the government will send the military to your island to try and take you out. You and the crew you employ as island security will have to hold off the military and at least attempt to kill them all. It won’t be easy but it will be possible. If you’re allied with any AI cartels they will send reinforcements to help you. This will happen for two weeks straight every two days unless you raise the meter with the citizens. After these two weeks of hell, the manhunt will reset back to just the low punishments and your island will be safe again. If you get killed by the military you will lose a lot and respawn in Bolingbroke with some of your crew coming to break you out. This will be a tough fight but it will be scripted like a heist mission and if you die then it will restart. After you’re outside the prison you’ll need to lose the cops, no help from Lester or CEO/Cartel abilities either since you won’t have a way to contact them just yet. After you lose them you will need to escape to a warehouse of yours that isn’t known by the police. (Facility or new underground safehouses) until you decide to make a break for it and try to get back to your private Island. Once back, most of your workers will be in jail or dead so you’ll have to hire new ones. Your lead enforcers and hitmen won’t be killed but will be in jail so you can decide during your escape whether you want to attempt to break them out too. If you choose no, you’ll have to hire a crew of players to break them out. You’ll pay something like 1 million per player and the players will have to break them out. To sum up the price of getting caught it will probably cost you somewhere in the region of 30 million dollars of lost product and workers on the low end and around 75 million on the high end.
Your cartel will bring in lots of money for you. Somewhere around 5-10 million per week on the low end and 30 million at the high end. You will NOT compete with other players, only against AI cartels. Elections will be for you and you alone, not other players.
As you can see this will be an endgame thing primarily based on the amount of money the buy-in would be. For the first update, it will be mainly vehicles that the people without a ton of money can buy but if you have a high-end apartment you’ll be able to become a kingpin for an AI-controlled cartel. It’ll be something to get your foot in the door and build some infrastructure for yourself. The pay won’t be amazing as you won’t be able to build that big of a crew but it will be something. Probably 50-100 thousand every GTA day. Eventually, the players will (ideally) save up money to buy the mansions which will mean you can employ more people and go higher up in the food chain with the AI cartel you chose. Eventually, once you get enough money to buy the private island you can split off from the AI cartel and start your own. You’ll be able to bring the infrastructure you built up under the AI cartel to your new cartel. The AI cartel will not like this for obvious reasons and this will set off a lot of beef and wars between your cartel and the AI cartel.

GTA Online 2021 Short Beginners Guide
Phase 1 So, you've spawned into GTA Online for the first time. After completing the tutorial, the first thing you want to do is to open up these links and complete those missions (including the weapon challenges) as this will get you $500,000. While you do these missions, keep an eye out for a call from Lester, as you need to take that call for the next phase.
https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_Hunt https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Bounty_Target Phase 2 Once you have all that money, you're gonna want to open up the internet app on your phone and head to
'www.dynasty8realestate.com' in the 'MONEY AND SERVICES' section. Click on 'VIEW PROPERTY LISTINGS' and scroll down to Del Perro Heights, Apt 7 for $200,000 and buy it.
At this point, you probably have received a call from Lester. If so, proceed to the green 'L' on the map. Once you meet Lester, a green 'H' will appear in your new apartment. Go there to start a heist. Proceed to do all the heists in order on hard mode. This will be easier with friends and searching up detailed guides can make them a lot easier. I would also recommend buying and using the Karin Kuruma (Armoured) on
www.southernsanandreassuperautos.com after you complete the Fleeca Job. This is the hardest phase, but it is well worth the rewards.
Phase 3+ Once you complete all of the heists in order on hard mode, you should have well over $2,000,000 in your account. Head to The Music Locker, an underground club in the Casino. Here you will meet Miguel Madrazo who will tell you about another heist. Once you have finished that, buy the submarine that he mentioned. Once you buy it, it should show on the map and if not, you can spawn it by pressing 'M' and heading to Services->Kosatka->Request Kosatka. You now have access to the Cayo Perico heist, which is the current meta for making money.
Do these heists repeatedly and you can get over $1,000,000 every hour. You can also complete them solo. Again, searching for detailed guides for the heist can be useful till you get used to it. Personally, I use the Kosatka Approach Vehicle and use the drainage tunnel to go straight into the compound, full stealth. The great thing about this heist is that you can do it in a wide variety of ways, so there's a method for any play style.
The first purchase you should make after the Cayo Perico Heist is the Sparrow, as it can be spawned at any time, anywhere through the interaction menu. This will make heist setups significantly faster and easier. After this, you can kinda buy anything. If you want to become good at PvP, buy the weapon workshop in your submarine and invest in vehicles like the Nightshark for safe travel and the Oppressor MK2 if you really want to be an asshole. You can also expand into passive businesses that will make money without you doing any work. If this is the case, buy them in this order; Bunker, Cocaine, Meth, Weed, Cash, Nightclub. With all of these businesses, make sure to fully upgrade them first and always buy supplies instead of stealing them.
Some other fun things you can do are the Casino and Doomsday heists, but by now you probably know what you want to do. Have fun!

Cayo Perico / End of 2020 De-Brief
Hello everyone, happy new year!
With recent release of Cayo Perico but not much else I wanted to touch base with the community holding out for GTA Online in Liberty City or Vice City, and debrief from the Cayo Perico DLC.
Even though Cayo Perico came out unexpectedly (to us), it is a small but welcome addition to the GTA Online world.
I believe that we still have reason to cling onto hope that that Liberty City will sooner rather than later, and Cayo Perico is a stepping stone to that demonstrating the map expansions are possible.
While I no longer think that we will see a remastered city come this generation of console, but we still have
GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" coming in 2021 which may have much more than just GTA V itself.
Reasons why I think that GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" is more than just GTA V with updated graphics
- GTA V XB1 & PS4 versions already work fine in XBSX/XBSS/PS5. It looks and runs great, similar to a PC level of detail/performance. Why would a significant update be needed if it will be much the same if they didn't have big plans on top of that?
- Cayo Perico proves that Rockstar's idea of "Expanded" can mean land expansion
- Cayo Perico sounds like it was more a like a side project during COVID-19 WFH than something in the works for a long time. It is not unreasonable to think that Rockstar, with all their global studios now merged together, haven't been working on something big since the bulk of RDR2 was finished.

https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/culture/article/gta-online-cayo-perico-heist - Why are they being so vague about the details, even to go as far as using a PS3 trailer for it... are they doing this because they are hiding something? Even being so far to be anticlimactic to take off the pressure from fans, and surprise us later.
What Cyberpunk 2077 has taught the overall gaming community lately is what happens when you overpromise and underdeliver. However Rockstar already learnt this lesson back in 2015 when they promised Heists in GTA Online, which kept being reworked and delayed until near the end of the PS3/360 generation and copped a lot of criticism for it.
Basically every social media comment was "Where are the Heists", fans were frustrated. From that time onwards they never released details until about 2 weeks out from launch for a DLC. RDR2 was a bit longer, but only because they had other partners to consider. For this they originally gave it 1 year from announcement to release date, but it was delayed to 2 years, with PC one more year after that (which also wasn't even announced until one month before that).
Here is a quote about what went wrong with Heists:
We aren’t ready to give an official release date yet, but we are confident they will be ready early in 2015. As you may have read on IGN, Heists were a much bigger challenge to create than we had originally anticipated. Early versions were simply not good enough and had to be scrapped more than once as we honed in on how we thought they should work. We’re happy to say that the pack we are now finalizing is something we are excited by and eager to release as soon as it is ready. We, as a company, have always been about trying to make something that is good rather than hitting a date. We apologize when this gets frustrating but firmly believe that rushing out second-rate content does not do anyone any favors. Hopefully you agree that yesterday’s new Trailer is a sign that Heists are shaping up nicely, but we still need some time to fine tune them. Because we need a little time to get Heists right, we are going to give you a small Christmas gift to keep you entertained until we are done with them.

- GTA IV & EFLC is highly regarded as a masterpiece, it's fanbase is still strong - many still prefer it to GTA V for a variety reasons, so it is a good candidate for a remaster. They can always make the GTA IV car physics, ragdoll, etc. come back again, perhaps as a user configurable option. Having the map there is the gateway to bringing these highly valued games back to a new generation.
Their games always start with the map, source:
https://www.mcvuk.com/development-news/inside-rockstar-north-part-1-the-vision/ - The availability of GTA IV is terrible. It is only a Backwards Compatibility title on Xbox One (non Enhanced), runs like rubbish on PC - performance wise (and multiplayer is now removed), and the PS4 & PS5 doesn't have it at all. Most other GTAs are available for purchase, at least on Mobile.
- GTA V is now 7 years old and the GTA fanbase is now bigger than ever thanks to GTA V & Online. A lot of new fans haven't had the opportunity to experience GTA IV because of the above availability issue. The new fans are desperate for a new (to them) GTA game, especially since it doesn't look like GTA6 is coming any time soon. Or maybe I'm wrong and 6 is coming soon as well?
- GTA Online is progressively getting new content referencing to Liberty City or content ported from Liberty City (i.e The Tugboat, QUB3D), so they are not above re-using GTA IV assets or dropping hints.
- It is clear that they have been taking the "lazy" route as far as making new content for GTA Online DLCs by re-using existing assets. Don't get me wrong there is still a lot of work involved, but still it is less work than starting from scratch.
But it would make sense that they will continue their more recent M.O. to re-use existing assets rather than start from scratch to save time, effort and cost.
- Porting the Liberty City map to GTA V engine can't be that difficult, given that even PC Modders have already been able to do it unofficially (FiveM/OpenIV), so just imagine what Rockstar can do when doing it properly.
- There were only about 10 multiplayer modes in GTA IV Multiplayer, it wouldn't be hard to bring those back to GTA Online game modes to recreate that missing experience.
- With high profile departures of the writers such as Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser & Lazlow there is no doubt going to be a brain drain. I'm sure they were working on stuff before their departures, and I'm sure that RockstaTake-Two with all their billions of dollars will be able to find other top talent to bring GTA into a new era, but this will take time, and they can get things out in the meantime. The story of GTA IV, Map & other assets are already made, so this gives them a head start to put out games while they rediscover their Mojo to make GTA6 using new talent.
- GTA Online is a Big Money Maker, it will make the GTA IV & ELFC remaster worth it because the remastered map will be used for both GTA IV & Online: LC (maybe slight map differences according to time period).
- Why did they put so much effort into issuing cease and desists to OpenIV team for OpenIV's LCinV project (even though it used original game files, no piracy) if they weren't planning on doing something in this space themselves.
- Cayo Perico aside (which is still quite small), Los Santos as the primary setting of GTA Online is still a bit stale after 7 years. They can't use 2013 Los Santos forever, surely. Not to mention that a new GTA release is already well overdue.
GTA IV Music Licensing speculation/hints
A little while back, a lot of music track licenses expired and they were pulled from the PC version, most notably Vladivostok FM was most affected with most songs removed.
They put in some new tracks to replace it, which wasn't quite as good but it seemed like that was as good as it's going to get.
But then they went ahead and relicensed the original tracks anyway so all the music is now restored again (about 16 months after being originally cut).
Why go though all that expense of relicensing all that music if they aren't planning to capitalise on it in a big way?
Cayo Perico speculation/hints
Not much here directly, but I have played with it a little bit.
The way that it's programmed is interesting. As far as I can tell, travel to the island is sharing a session with Free Mode rather than being a different game mode, which you can tell by seeing the player list stay the same as whoever is in the Freemode session you were in. There is no loading of a different game mode, it is just a cut scene. On PC you can even chat to people who are still in Los Santos.
When you look at the map, you are located South-East of LS (just past USS Luxington), and if you move the mouse you can get locations of LS show up, it's just the map itself which is hidden.
There is a glitch you can do to "free roam" the whole Island, or just go to the Beach Party standalone, it is clear that you are in Free Mode of an existing Los Santos based lobby.
When I was glitched, I was able to take a Dinghy back to LS, LS was visible. about halfway there, the whole Cayo Perico just de-spawned similar to how the USS Luxington does, and also the weathenight cycle changed instantly too.
When I was glitched but still on the Island, a whole bunch of functions were disabled like spawning cars, calling contacts, etc.
What this shows me is that perhaps they are experimenting with how integration with Future GTA Maps will look like.
Instead of loading a whole different game, or loading a different game mode, it could be one big Free Mode made up of all locations, the locations can not be directly accessed without triggering a cut scene, and the properties of how a Free Mode works can change depending on what location on the broader map you are in.
One challenge I anticipate is that they wouldn't want GTA$ earned in LS to be transferred to a totally new GTA Online area. It is well known that a lot of it glitched and they'd want us to start getting rich again. They have also been experimented with holding separate currencies such as Arena Points or Casino Chips. I could imagine that they come up with a storyline where all your GTA$ Cash gets deposited into Maze Bank but then can't be withdrawn to cash or moved to another bank, and in LC you are forced to use a competing bank like the Bank of Liberty. Basically LS = only get Maze Bank, LC = only get Bank of Liberty.
Cars/Planes etc. Can be not widely transferable (i.e. You MKII or Babushka holding a car has engine failure mid flight and crashes, or maybe you need to go to the Airport marker on food), and maybe some planes (i.e. Luxor) can enter on a visiting basis via. Cutscene of that vehicle but can't be saved at the destination into a personal hangar.
Final words
I hope this gives some good for thought.
Keep speculating! At least until we get some solid info
Here's to 2021.

A complete guide to making an easy 2-3 million every few hours by grinding the Casino Heist
–This is a guide mostly for new players. I'm sure anyone whose been playing this game for a few years knows all this–
I started playing GTA online roughly two months ago and I already have practically everything I wanted, just from grinding the casino heist over and over again.
It can get tedious, sure, but so can everything else in life. You just have to have a positive mindset and think of the reward at the end– all the jets, planes, cars, bikes, clothes etc...! PLUS I personally find the preps a lot more enjoyable than doing sell missions for the bunker or doing import/export over and over.
I'm doing this on mobile, so please excuse any formatting errors :)
Note– doing this with two people is always the most optimal way to make money. Give yourself a huge cut. You deserve it for doing all the preps.
•step one: buy an arcade in Las Santos. Don't buy the one in Paleto Bay because that long drive to the casino will drive you crazy if you do it enough.
•step two: do all your prep works/setups in an invite only session. Trust me, it makes life so much easier when you're not bring chased by an oppressor all the time.
•step three: you can shuffle the contents you get in the vault. –NOTE THAT YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED ALL THREE HEIST APPROACHES–. YOU DO NOT WANT CASH. Art is better than gold (in my opinion) purely because it's very easy to do with two people... meaning you can keep a much bigger cut for yourself. Gold is awesome, but I'll talk about that in a bit.
•step three (b): to shuffle the vault contents and try to get something other than cash; simply do the vault contents prep. When you go to the casino and access the security camera feed, find the camera which reveals what's inside the vault. If you get art or gold, perfect! If you get cash, identify the target and wait for Lester to stop talking. Back out of the camera and then call Lester. Cancel the heist BEFORE you leave the casino. Leave the casino and go to your arcade. You will then have to pay another 25,000 to setup the heist again. When you pay, you will notice that a target has already been identified and there's a chance that this target will be different to what you already had. It's random so you may have to do it again. If you get cash again, go outside, cancel the heist again, restart your system, setup the heist again and repeat the previous steps until you get a better target than cash :)
•step four: always choose either aggressive or the Gruppe Sechs approach. Silent and sneaky with randoms is a nightmare abs it's not worth the frustration. Only do silent and sneaky with friends or people with mics
•step five: in order to even unlock the Gruppe Sechs approach, you have to first do the scoping out prep. Go to the sewer tunnel entrance that's closest to the casino. Go down the tunnel and look to your right. You will see a large semi-circular shaped get made of steel poles. Take a picture of it and send it to Lester. This will unlock the group Sechs approach!
•step five (b): always pick the cheapest gunman, the cheapest car guy and the best hacker. The best hacker you can get is AVI and to unlock him, you have to destroy all the signal jammers around the city.
•step six: there are optional preps. Some you can always skip and some you should absolutely do. You should ALWAYS get the level 2 keycards because if not, you will have to deal with that awful hacking minigame involving circles. Save yourself the headache of dealing with it and always do that prep. There's no point in getting the masks for any approach.
•step six (b): If you are doing the aggressive approach, I would highly recommend doing the enhanced body armour prep, Duggan's shipments and the level 2 keycard prep. You can skip everything else that isn't mandatory. The enhanced body armour will make your life so much easier... trust me. Doing Duggan Shipments and getting all 10 will makes the guards extremely easy to kill and will give them weak weapons.
step six (c): for the Gruppe Sechs approach, I would recommend doing the level two keycards and getting the exit disguise. I personally recommend going for the firefighter outfits because they're easier to get OR if you have the time, you can collect 54 playing cards, unlock the high roller outfits and you can use those as an exit disguise instead. They'll be permanently unlocked, meaning you can skip the exit disguise in future if you have it. Those are really the only optional preps you need. Patrol routes might seem important, but it's not.
step seven: when you're finished in the vault, always exit through the staff entrance. This will leave you in a position with the least amount of noose and the best position to escape from and to get to your getaway vehicles.
step eight: get in any vehicle you can find. Doesn't have to be your getaway vehicles. Drive to the police station that's near the casino, climb to the roof and get in the helicopter. It's the fastest way to your destination and to lose the cops. To see a tutorial of how to do this, there a tonne of guides on YouTube :)
step nine: you're done! You just completed the heist. Now you have to wait about 5 to 10 minutes to receive a call or text from Lester, suggesting you to do the heist again. Now, just do all steps again and you can easily make 2-3 million in about three or four hours.
If I'm missing anything, please let me know :)

Persists through restarts/crashses. • Shops can order some items at a reduced cost but must wait several hours for the shipments • All shops pay a daily rent (currently $500) LSPD/BCSO (Whitelisted) EMS/LFSD (Whitelisted) Mechanic (Whitelisted) Gangs (Cartel, Mafia, MC, etc) Boxer Fishing Fueler Lumberjack Miner Reporter Security Hunter Butcher Tailor Taxi Trucker BOUNTY HUNTER! SHOPS/GAS STATIONS There are shops and gas stations around the map where you will need to refuel your vehicle or buy things like repair kits. ILLEGAL JOBS You can do any number of things from robbing stores, chopping cars, selling drugs and burglarizing houses. There are also criminal gangs and businesses that are player run that make doing some of these activities easier. GANG PERKS The Lost MC guys have as 25% increase on store robbery payouts, called the “Intimidation Factor”. The Mafia have a “No Witnesses” perk which means their gunshots are hidden from police because no locals call the cops on these guys. This is just a couple examples of the custom additions we’ve made. DRUGS The big thing with some cities is that all of their drugs are usually locked to whitelisted orgs. Here you can create 3 types of drugs with uniquely different ways of manufacturing each type. https://preview.redd.it/8jrlzbo76a261.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=6fba0f2065675961ee84f4922e254c054d925d68 https://preview.redd.it/ptx4y6gf6a261.jpg?width=1571&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d419302d18cb805efd4720892c09da90b2b79d1d https://preview.redd.it/f6cnopaq6a261.jpg?width=1596&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e8f1827286492c2a4de074ec280455cfa3c25dc https://preview.redd.it/gi1r5xyr6a261.jpg?width=1560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3b212450564e9b728132383a656872982fd92ac https://preview.redd.it/vmqadfdt6a261.jpg?width=1571&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2e3309ddc5ac5a67056b837db2c64847d75436ac https://preview.redd.it/gun2j72v6a261.jpg?width=1459&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=559a658156e26430d2268ee9e2e3ac6a803b79f0 https://preview.redd.it/3u3fklpw6a261.jpg?width=1815&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e754fa98e8e8ec1e0a84a8d19902cc9561dcafeb https://preview.redd.it/ii33myey6a261.png?width=1408&format=png&auto=webp&s=f9de22cd207727c82c627bd67b2024dbfdab8f48 https://preview.redd.it/gn2iynl17a261.jpg?width=1852&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fac9776fde775ca170271166e93966de1a47c66 https://preview.redd.it/8wafiyk37a261.png?width=1197&format=png&auto=webp&s=deaa35872546337375f51f7822970450770ad3a6 https://preview.redd.it/2kgcu8h87a261.jpg?width=1546&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c4421a38b0118737a170fba6926b4174934933a submitted by BennysMotorWorx to GTARP [link] [comments] |
[A Beginner Friendly Casino Heist Guide] I decide to convert some of pain with randoms into this shareable
| It is my first time composing a guide like this for GTA Online. So any criticism or suggestion is welcome! I really wish this can be helpful. There is a ton of wiki about it but I am just going to refine them into my own words. Btw, this guide is not for people who is already a veteran. Casino heist is the easiest way to make a quick fortune so far because you can join a finale through your phone (although there is a cool down time between each). And you probably won't find any extreme method to maximize payout such as glitch. The main purpose of this article is help people have fun. Scope Out This is something you do once and for all. So there is no reason why you don't scope out all access points and P.O.I.. You can launch this mission every time when you are hosting the heist, but can only be done before selecting approach. There is plenty of Youtube videos about where to find them such as this. Vault Content Just to to the observatory and find 2 guys chatting. Sometimes they are at the front door but most of the time they are on the left side of building. One guy with a baseball cap and the other "bigger" guy with a cowboy hat. Start hacking through securoserv app while walk along with the guard while he takes a phone call. Don't run into or kill him cuz that will get cops on you. Hacking into security camera is easy so let's skip that (sometimes the Wi-Fi spot is in the restroom). Casino Model & Door Security & Vault Door All of them are complete waste of money. Casino model is purely decorative. If you want to practice hacking, just ask teammates or friends nicely to give you a shot in the vault or watch Youtube. And there is no need to practice drilling vault door because you are not on a time limit. Before we jump into approaches, there is a prep mission called "Security Intel". It gives you all the camera vision without having to getting close to a camera. You will need to complete all Diamond Casino & Resort story missions as the host in order to unlock this mission. Once it's done, you don't have to do it again. The camera intel stays with you. JUST DO IT FOR VINCENT'S SAKE. Prep Board Next, I'm gonna tell you what each prep mission means and which optional missions are actually worth doing imo. - Gunner: Hire the cheapest guy because you are not supposed to exchange fire anyway. There are two loadouts to choose from and both works great.
- Driver: Hire the cheapest guy because you don't need his help at all. This role is a fucking free rider and you will see why later. I always source Übermacht Sentinel Classic because it goes fast and handles the best. It matters in setup mission.
- Hacker: Hire Paige because she gives you more time in the vault. It's worth the investment. If you have Avi unlocked you can try him to. He takes 1% more cut but gives you 5 seconds more time in the vault when exposed and 3 more seconds when undetected. It's up to you whether he is worth it. To unlock Avi as hacker, you need to destroy all 50 signal jammers around the map in free mode. Youtube video guide is here.
- Patrol routes: It makes more enemies visible on mini map. I always do it but if you feel comfortable to skip it, I respect that.
- Duggan shipments: MUST DO! Because you are supposed to get head shot and without Duggan shipments gone, guards will wear bullet proof helmet. You want to have some kind of flying vehicle because targets are all over the map.
- Power drills: You wanna get it if you think there is enough time to hit deposit boxes AFTER grabbing all the main stuff.
- Security pass: ALWAYS GET LEVEL 2 SECURITY PASS! This saves you a ton of time from hacking key pads. You can cycle through this option to a picture with a valet and a dealer.
- Acquire masks: A complete waste of time.
- EMP device and infiltrate suits: The former cuts power out and the latter gives you nigh vision in dark as well as the ability to rappel down the elevator well when entering casino if you choose some doors near helipad as entrance. If you want to sneaky in or out more easily, go ahead and do both. I think it's not worth it. Gun is your best friend.
Planning Board I usually chose staff lobby or waste disposal as entrance. But you must choose staff lobby as exit and select high level buyer. Staff lobby door is close to both sewer and nearby police station, and high level buyer gives you most pay. And DO NOT ever buy decoy or clean vehicle. They are total waste of money. Finale The general rule is DO NOT kill guards if they are not in your way, or patrolling to a dead body. Also watch out for cameras. You can only shoot down 1 camera. So just stun them. It can be difficult if teammates are not on mic cuz you might need to take down some guards in pairs. What I usually do is typing "Can someone please aim with me? You aim at right guy and I aim at left guy, then I fire right after you." in chat box. I found it works well as long as teammates read English. Probably many of you already knew this but you can hit daily vault twice both on your way in and out. The gate control is in security room. Another important note is that the guards will be able to see you though glass on doors, but they will not be able to see you through bullet proof glass around security room. As far as after getting into the vault, just make sure get your ass outta there before times counts down to 0. And also, elevator is for suicide only. TAKE THE STAIRS. Then it's much easier. At this time you have not alerted anyone yet so turn to your right after getting out of casino. Check out the map below where I drew a route to a safe spot to jack a ride from NPC. You just need to make sure to knock out the first NOOSE on the left side of van, and knock out the second one patrolling the Lost club house. Don't shoot because that will alert them. After jacking a ride now you have 2 option. First is to go down the sewer where I marked with black circle, or steal a chopper on the helipad of nearby police station where I marked with red H. You can practice both in free mode in terms of where to go in the sewer and how to get to the helipad, but please bear in mind that sometimes the helicopter doesn't spawn. And ALWAYS turn left onto the highway from sewer exit because turning right will take you near to casino and that will get heat back on you. Escape Route From easy to hard: Gruppe Sechs, Bug Star, LS Water & Power, Young Ancestor. Prep Board - Gunner: Hire the cheapest guy because you can't fire a bullet in casino. That will attract attention no matter where you are. The only way to kill anyone inside is knocking him out.
- Driver: Hire the cheapest guy, period.
- Hacker: Hire Paige or Avi.
- Entry disguise: Gruppe Sechs gives you a clean run without alerting anyone until you get back to stair well. But I personally find other disguise more exciting. You just need to watch some Youtube videos before try them out. Young Ancestor takes longest time and most challenging imo.
- Exit disguise: JUST DO IT. Without it, you will be hunted right after getting out of casino. Go get NOOSE or firefighter outfits. Firefighter mission is easier because you can call Lester to clear wanted level.
- Patrol routes: I would say this is not necessary if you are playing Gruppe Sechs, but highly recommended if you are using other entry disguise because you are dealing with more enemies.
- Duggan shipments: Not necessary at all! Since no shots will be fired, their protective gear doesn't do any use against knocking out.
- Power drills: Same as other approaches.
- Security passes: LEVEL 2!
- Masks: Nobody cares.
Planning Board This is the same as silent and sneaky approach. Finale There is nothing complicated about big con especially Gruppe Sechs. Just check your map for guards that are hostile. Guards and cameras marked in red circles are hostile while white color indicates "friendly". After making up to the ground level, you will want to circle to the back area and knock 1 guy out. Then make your way to laundry room and change your outfit. After that you can walk outta there like a boss. Once you are out of casino, it's the same deal as silent & sneaky. Unarguably the only approach to play with randoms lmao. But you do get less time in vault and will lose take from getting shot at. Prep Board - Gunner: This can be flexible depending on your shooting skill. The cheapest guy already have automatic weapon so that's good enough for me. Go for better gunners if you enjoy shootout.
- Driver: Do I need to say that again?
- Hacker: Yeah one of those two.
- Patrol routes: Nobody cares because it will be loud.
- Duggan shipments: Let me say this, if you don't do it, it will take a full clip of mags with headshot to take down 1 guard. GET IT DONE!
- Power drills: There is less time in vault so I usually skip this unless it's a crew of 4.
- Security passes: If you don't get a level 2 pass then you are out of your mind.
- Acquire masks: Literally no one cares.
- Reinforced armor: It works like heavy heist suits in OG heists. It gives you more health but makes you run slower. If you have Duggan shipments wiped out then this is totally unnecessary. If there are rookie in your team then you might wanna get it.
- Boring machine: This is a super effective prep mission as it allows you to enter vault level through sewer directly. But you have to have this particular access point scouted first.
Planning Board To get in and out faster, you would still want to choose staff lobby. But entering through main entrance is more dramatic and funny. And for the last time I have to say, DON'T WASTE MONEY ON DECOY OR CLEAN VEHICLE!. Finale There is really no need to explain anything here. But some people do take a different route after getting out of casino, which is around the inside of race track. You can still stick the the route I provided earlier but you might encounter 2 or 3 more cops on your way to jacking an NPC ride. Ok guys, go watch some Youtube videos and read some other guides if you have not done this before. I really wish you have fun out there and not waste other players' time by reading my beginner friendly guide. Casino heist is definitely worth playing because R* created this based on all the lessons learned from previous guides. It will be likely to be the template of next generation of GTA Online, which is just 20 years away! submitted by CallMeComrade to gtaonline [link] [comments] |
Me Bitching
GTA is an amazing game and easily the most earning of all time.
But now it’s being ruined by rockstar themselves. There’s so many things wrong in the game that don’t make sense or just shouldn’t exist. In fact, it costs 60 dollars to buy a helicopter and a plane. Sixty dollars, that’s still hours of grinding in the game and in real life. Then the vehicles rockstar is adding, about half a year ago (i don’t know when) a flying hover bike was added to the game that has missiles that cannot miss. This little bike overpowers nearly anything in the game with its missiles. It can destroy a hydra or an insurgent in just a couple shots. It’s gotten to a point where cars are considered useless depending on the amount of rockets they can take. Think of the ruiner 2000, it used to be a fun vehicle to ride around and climb buildings until it could be destroyed In a single explosive. The Deluxo also exists, but it’s so expensive and slow it’s just a minor problem. But then, it’s on the casino wheel and you can get it for free with a glitch. But don’t worry rockstar will patch the glitch before it’s overly abused. End of the week comes, it’s not fixed, the next one. And ever since it hasn’t been fixed. The sad thing is that it’s been in the game for so much longer before that. You would thing glitches like the casino chip glitch would be patched. Now this one was heavily “guarded” you have a major chance of getting your account reset after doing this. But what stops them from doing it again and again until they don’t get banned. Now let me go back to the shark card problem. 60 dollars will get you a helicopter and a plane. Which I already mentioned, but did I mention that everything entire car in the game and plane and jet and property and upgrade for avenger terrobyte and so much more. Everything in the game would cost you. Drumroll please, over 5700 dollars. Wow, now why would you do that when you could get access to everything in the game including infinite cash glitches special vehicles and fucking transformers made of cars. For just, 30, dollars. MODDERS. It’s a nice first impression on new players trying to get into the game when the second they join they are either getting trillions of dollars in seconds or they are being trapped in cages and blown up. Now I think it’s obvious rockstar is only in it for the money so if this doesn’t motivate them nothing will. IF THEY HAVE TRILLIONS THEY WONT BUY SHARK CARDS. I play on Xbox so modders are extremely rare for me and are one in a billion but when you do find them they are ruthless. This game is getting so many new vehicles that break the game that the gta map is almost seeming small to me. I mean really when you can fly around the map in seconds. Then pvp is a joke. Drugs make your gun stronger, people blow themselves up before dying, there are so many people that fight for their KDr that they get scared when you drive next to them with an rc car and immediately kill themselves. R* has done some things to patch these. For example there is a cool down on killing yourself and going into passive mode after shooting people. But instead they just blow themselves up.
There are so many other problems that I don’t even want to begin trying to type out and I’m getting most of it from this video.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F-artC4LNV4 Good lord the problems and carelessness with this game is horrible, I’m a level 124 and I play daily and grind casino heists with my friends I’ve never glitches for money or spent money on the game. Only glitch I’ve ever done is to get deluxo on the wheel. (Look there’s no way to resist that) And it hurts me to see this games community to go to shit there are so many bad things about it that I question if they even have internet to see us complain
But Good Lord This game has gone to shit and I hope gta6 is better and bigger
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F-artC4LNV4 If you can’t click that link the video is called The problem with GTA online
Have a sexy day

Warzone lobbies
I wish there were lobbies with different balancing specifically for combat. You wouldn’t gain or lose popularity or supplies, you wouldn’t get raided, you wouldn’t have to worry about any money making activities
Money making/spending dynamic
It’s just one continuous battlefield. You destroy someone’s car, you don’t get charged. You cannot make money in the game mode by conventional means HOWEVER freemode competitions, distinctly different from the ones in multiplayer will allow you to
For instance if you have a K/D 1 full mark higher than everyone else in the lobby for a full 15 minutes, you get a 30k bonus, for 30 minutes it becomes 90k, or if you kill that person you get 25k. Just random rewards for getting kills or not getting killed.
Maybe every player would get objectives reset on the hour for how to get kills, like “kill a player with a vehicle, kill a player using a pistol at a range of greater than 50m, kill a player who’s using bull shark testosterone”
Completing each individual objective gives you some chump change but the player could earn maybe 80k for completing all 3 depending on player level.
Combat Mechanics - Each player starts off the game with access to every weapon or vehicle that costs less than $50,000. As they continue to play in the session they earn infamy points (more on this later) which can be spent to obtain the vehicles, guns, ammo, etc. they normally have in freemode.
- Normal gta money can be used to obtain items just as you can in standard freemode, you will receive a 50% discount on items you already own, but regardless it would generally be smarter to just unlock it.
- Players can only spend $2,000,000/session of normal cash which prevents pay to win for grinders with stupid money or glitchers with stupid money: buying something in this mode unlocks it to own in freemode as well
- Each infamy point is equivalent to $25,000 of an item you have previously purchased however some abilities or contacts also require infamy points to unlock. Kills will give 1 point but can be multiplied by other bonuses. For instance a long ranged kill might be worth 2 points or a melee kill worth 3.
- Extremely expensive things, like maybe things that are $2,000,000 or more, can be unlocked for that one single life at a reduced price, or unlocked for standard usage at full cost. So a 2 million dollar Tampa would cost 80 points to unlock but maybe you can use it for a single life for only 20 points.
- Every single time you die, your points are reset. This is why you can’t just immediately save up points to get your MOC and run over freshly spawned players all day. If you die, you will lose the points you saved up. So once you can afford something cheap that’ll help you not die, it’s a good idea to purchase it
For this reason, after a while, you might want to call your mechanic for your kuruma for 21 points, or unlock access to lester for 20 points.
- MKII weapons carry standard ammo capacity but are expensive to unlock
- Missiles last significantly longer before exploding in this game mode making evasion in a jet more difficult
- The oppressor MKII has no cool down but also cannot have countermeasures, the missiles are merged to jet missiles as well
- Certain vehicles that have become irrelevant become cheaper, for instance the million dollar ardent would cost as many points as something 250k, this is to keep all items relevant and usable
- Mors mutual is disabled, instead all vehicles spawn instantly next to you after dialing your mechanic but have a 4 minute cooldown before you can call them again after it gets destroyed
- Players can participate in this freemode as invite only, friends only, etc. but these do not contribute toward money making or warzone mode K/D. They only effect freemode K/D and are a fun way of challenging players to 1v1s
- In order to be able to earn money and contribute to their K/D players need to be in a public lobby with at least 10 players in it that are not added as friends. This prevents people from getting money by just doing solo online lobbies and killing an afk friend
- K/D is reset every bonus week
Progression
If this game mode had no progression it’d be pretty boring
I think the game shouldn’t have true progression like ranking up, but I think it’d be a good touch if players with the highest K/D get recognized at the end of the bonus week. Top 20 players get 10 million, top 1% get a million, top 10% get 200k, etc
With some other unique bonuses like everyone who gets top 1% unlocks a brand new livery, or top 5% earners get all of the optional preps for a casino heist completed, or they get to choose their next casino heist loot, maybe their next business upgrade is free.
The weeks bonuses would get announced on Twitter and would essentially be considered part of a weeks bonuses, maybe twitch prime users could even get additional benefits like if normal players only get optional preps skipped twitch prime players get all their setups skipped
Rules
- Not rules necessarily but I’m calling it that for lack of a better term. If a player has bad sport, they cannot participate against non-bad sports
- Conspiring to cheat the system, such as watching players kill AFK players over and over is a bannable offense which restricts a players access to the game mode for a month
- Players are kicked for idle in a shorter amount of time
- In game chat tells exactly who’s talking with less bugs, given the way BO2 lobbies used to be I do not want gta to be like that. I’d want the ability to mute and report players easily by seeing which side just called my mom a cock sucking N word

Online is in the best place it’s been in a long time - Change my mind
Online is in the best place it’s been in a long time - Change my mind
Look, I know everyone likes to get their money the clean way and everything is crazy expensive but I’d argue GTA Online is maybe in the best spot I’ve seen it in a long time (post bikers GTA). So let’s do a run down.
I think a lot of people sit here and yearn for the good old days when everything was simple, before there were businesses and so much to upkeep. I agree that the upkeep can absolutely wear on you if you push the businesses too hard. And I also loved GTA Online prior to this, but bias aside, businesses gave it the legs it needed to keep going. Heists were great and all but after that was the Ill Gotten Gains to Cunning Stunts stretch where the game really worse itself thin. Businesses breathed life into a game that was without a doubt dying at that point, with burnout at an all time high and it trying to find it’s footing of where to go next. But it also gave griefers a new outlet, promoted them to be bigger dicks than they’d ever been before, and brought out the worst of them all: the hydra griefer. And there was no real counter at that point. You could try to get away long enough to get a jet of your own but your only real option was to either spend time counter killing them til they leave or change sessions and hope there weren’t any in the new one. (Solo session yeah yeah but that’s always a thing so it’s a moot point)
Times were simpler, but I wouldn’t say everything was super peachy at that point. Now let’s look at the other major updates that followed:
Gunrunning: This was maybe the most hyped update I’ve seen because A) You run guns and B) Everyone thought the death of Jet griefers was imminent. Except none of the vehicles were great hydra counters. A half track, APC, and the anti-aircraft trailer can take down your less intelligent jet griefers, but they’re not reliable enough to discourage it all together. The explosive sniper would eventually contribute to the death of jet griefing but not for a while as it was locked behind Research so it would take a bit for it to become a commonly held weapon. We also got the dreaded Oppressor with this update. The go to for your lazy griefers. It was a great tool for grinding though, and was only super problematic at this point as it lacked solid counters besides light poles. Overall though, would call Gunrunning a good addition to the game but the period that immediately followed it lackluster. It was exciting to have a new business and see all these new toys added to the game but with everything locked behind research it took a while for Gunrunning to really showcase all it had to offer. Lazy griefers also had a new ez mode toy to use and it took a bit for people to adjust.
Smugglers Run: Absolute garbage new business added and insane prices for the new planes. It also came out very shortly after Gunrunning. The combined price of these 2 DLCs is insane and with Gunrunning being the only viable new business the opportunity to actually enjoy what Smugglers Run had to offer wasn’t really available in the immediate period afterwards. Looking back, I like a lot of the planes added, but there were some that could’ve used some extra oomph. But that didn’t matter since you couldn’t afford them at that point. We did get easy access to Fort Zancudo though, which is the one prop I’d give to this DLC. But overall it didn’t really add anything but a money sink and for that I don’t think anyone can argue the game was in a great state at this point.
Doomsday Heist: Now this is the spot where someone could say that was the peak of GTA Online and I could see their point but throw down a hard disagree. The heists were great, and the replay ability was strong as well with the challenge of the final heist well balanced by the easiness of Bogdan. And Bogdan provided an amazing avenue of money making for those sick of grinding businesses and desiring to buy all of the shiny new toys added in Gunrunning and Smugglers Run. We also got the Deluxo (and the Stromberg but the Stromberg only started to get its time to shine recently as it was heavily slept on for a while). At this point enough people had their explosive snipers to the point where jet griefing was finally becoming a more uncommon occurrence, and the deluxo was a great counter balance/complement to the oppressor thanks to its lower speed/better missiles against the oppressors higher speed/worse missiles. There’s very little to complain about with this update except for... The Orbital Cannon. This thing took forever to get a half decent patch and you couldn’t do anything in a lobby without feeling nervous about the person with 5 X’s in their name and combat gear suddenly teleporting to their facility. Big no.
After Hours: I think this one speaks for itself. The Nightclub itself was cool but underwhelming with it’s popularity missions, the warehouse provided a fantastic new source of passive income, and the Oppressor mk2 became the new poster boy for everything bad about GTA Online (which at this point is fair while everyone was scrambling to figure out how to counter it) except at this point we already had futuristic shit like the Deluxo and it’s easily the best vehicle in the game for grinding. Overall a good update but not a great period for online with the infant oppressor mk2 and lingering orbital cannon issue.
Arena War: Hot garbage period for the game, I took one of my longer breaks from the game at this point. Remember that Lester Glitch where everyone spun around at the airport for days on end? And remember how everyone thought Rockstar was going to do a money wipe? They didn’t do a money wipe because they didn’t need to! This dlc was so outrageously expensive to the point where your money from that glitch was gone after buying the workshop and a handful of arena vehicles. The game modes can be fun but the payouts and matchmaking are garbage and in the blink of an eye the whole thing became an afterthought. Like with smugglers run the vehicles added are crazy fun but locked behind a big paywall so they couldn’t be fully enjoyed in the period of the game that immediately followed. Arena War is something I’m glad exists now as it added a load of fun vehicles that didn’t dramatically change the landscape of the game like weaponized vehicles of past updates did, but the period following was brutally rough for the game as the new activity was incredibly expensive and lackluster and all the issues from before were still around.
Diamond Casino: Not much to say about this one, casino was neat, added some fantastic money glitches, free car every week, cool new vehicles added that weren’t weaponized, and a sweet penthouse. “Oh but the penthouse is so expensive and I have to buy it to get VIP in the casino blah blah blah”. No, the fully upgraded penthouse is but that’s not something I have a problem with as it was all just fluff for people with the money to burn. The cost of the base penthouse is easily recouped by running through the Ms. Baker missions as host and they’re all easy as hell and the whole thing takes like an hour. You also get a free armored Paragon R for the trouble too. So that complaint about the penthouse is a moot point when you’re just too lazy to actually play through the missions the DLC added. Besides the casino there wasn’t a whole lot new to do otherwise though and there was still one particular lingering issue that had been around since Doomsday Heist that wasn’t patched yet. At least not until near the end of this DLC period, when the Orbital Cannon finally received the changes it needed. But that only meant that in the final ~1 month of this DLC period online was in a slightly better place, but we had still gone 2 major updates without a new form of income (at least that didn’t involve gaming the casino), and 3 major updates without an active avenue for making money.
Enter Casino Heist: In this DLC we got the arcade, the diamond casino heist, and some nice new non weaponized vehicles to add to our collections. The arcade is an improved source of passive income to the Nightclub (wall safe not the warehouse) as it will bring in $5k a day if you fill the floor with games (you don’t need to buy every game btw, you just buy Monkey’s Paradise for $90k and then in Arcade Management on the interaction menu you can put it in every slot on the floor). But the biggest draws by far are the MCT and the Casino Heist itself. The MCT is an improved version of what you have in your terrorbyte and makes managing businesses soooooo much easier. The Casino Heist itself is by far the best Heist in the game with the 3 different approaches and then sub options within those giving it excellent replay ability. You can also set it up in free roam which is fantastic. It has a great payout on it’s own vs the time it takes to set it up and for those looking for even quicker money it’s an improved Bogdan. In the period following we also got Open Wheel Races and new contact missions which is nothing too special but definitely welcome extra content to have some fun with. With such a large gap since the last time an ez mode griefing vehicle was added as well I think we’ve also reached the point where all of that is as balanced as it can be as everyone’s figured out which vehicles and weapons counter others.
And that brings me to my final point - online is as good as it’s been in a long time. The biggest gripe is mostly in regards to how much there is available to buy and how impossible the grind can feel. If you’re in this situation I would highly encourage you to explore finding people to play with (if you’re dead set on legitimate gains) or exploring less honest ways of making money like duping or running b2b Bogdan or casino heist. There’s so much to do in Online that gets lost behind what feels like the endless wall of grinding. I have everything I could ask for and then some for future updates. Running my businesses no longer feels like something I have to do, and it’s actually surprisingly enjoyable/rewarding when it’s not surrounded by stress. More than that, dicking around in different vehicles, having fun with friends and randoms, and helping them out feels so much more enjoyable because I don’t feel like I’m losing time I could be spending grinding. So get that money and live a little. There’s a lot to love about Online right now, and when you’re not tunnel visioned on grinding you’ll realize that there’s a lot of what made OG Online so great alive and well still. It will never be the same, but different doesn’t have to mean worse.
Hell at this point I almost wish they’d add some more crazy vehicles to mess around with instead of all standard ones.

Solo money making guide for new and well set players.
I've got this cool solo money making guide I tried and tested. - This combines the CEO work, Import/Export, Special cargo, MC Businesses, Bunker, Nightclubs and Terrorbyte client missions.
- This guide is 100% solo.
- This is an all day method, great if you have a day off school or work.
- Also contains an AFK method.
- I recommend doing this method in a solo public lobby because there maybe other players in that lobby that's also doing Terrorbyte missions, Headhunter, Sightseer or any other VIP jobs and that's not even including griefers.
Fore new players who are new or broke, click on this link here hence including new players in the title. https://www.reddit.com/usexInfected_Virus/comments/epdbs2/solo_money_making_guide_for_new_players/ What businesses you'll need. - CEO Office.
- Vehicle warehouse.
- Two Special cargo warehouse. (Size depends on how much money you have so large if you can afford it but small if your short on money).
- Bunker with equipment and staff upgrades.
- MC Clubhouse.
- MC Businesses with Equipment and Staff upgrades. (Coke, Meth, Cash). Weed and Document Forgery is mainly to supplement the Nightclub business.
- Nightclub with staff, equipment and security upgrades and five technicians. Also get least level 2 storage upgrades. Need crate warehouse/Hanger, MC Businesses Coke, Meth, Cash, Weed and Document Forgery and Bunker to make full use of the Nightclub business.
- Terrorbyte so you can do client missions which is important for the main guide. Also get the Drone station so you can do Targeted Data which in my opinion is easier than Diamond Shopping, Robbery in Progress and Data Sweep.
- Arcade with Master Control Terminal. So you can buy product from one location and do the Casino Heist.
Recommended locations (For players who don't have the businesses yet). If you already own the businesses and properties then you don't have to change from your current locations, except maybe moving your MC Businesses to Sandy Shores if it's in Paleto Bay or Elysian Islands/Terminal and moving your Bunker to Chumash or Farmhouse. This is mainly for players who are looking to buy those properties and businesses.
Note: This is my personal opinion. If you think there's another better location or disagree, then let me know why that's better.
If you already have multiple Special cargo small, medium or large warehouses then stick with the ones you have.
- CEO Office: Office of your choice.
- Vehicle warehouse: I recommend La Puerta since it has good accessibility for the Cargobob and it's easily accessible when delivering a car and also great for selling vehicles to specialist dealer locations. It's also away from gang locations. La Mesa is decent too if your starting out since it's the cheapest location but watch out for Vagos though.
- Special cargo warehouse two small or large: Anywhere but in Elysian or south of Los Santos.
- MC Clubhouse: I recommend the Great Chaparral one since it's near your businesses in Sandy Shores if you have them there.
- MC Businesses Coke, Meth, Cash, Weed and Document Forgery: I recommend Grand Senora Desert since it's the cheapest and it's easier to do sell missions to Los Santos. If your gonna buy the Weed and Document Forgery, then buy it in northern Los Santos or in Grans Senora Desert and Grapeseed respectively. No need to upgrade your Weed and Document Forgery.
- Bunker: Chumash or Farmhouse because they're closer to the Los Santos for sell missions.
- Nightclub: In Downtown Vinewood since it's near the highway and it's next to a long main straight road. It's also the northernmost one so it's very useful if the business battle or nightclub promotion mission is in Blaine county.
- Arcade: Anywhere in Los Santos. The one in Vinewood is the one I have but La Mesa is also a good location.
Vehicles you'll need.
1. Buzzard. - Most important vehicle for any money grinders to have to have since it makes travelling around the map easier and faster and makes Terrorbyte missions, Sightseer and Headhunter more quickly, you can also spawn it in for free (only if you bought it) in the interaction menu while your a CEO. If you didn't buy it then it'll cost $25,000 to spawn at the interaction menu as a CEO so make sure to get it ASAP. The Buzzard homing missiles like all vehicles and aircraft with homing missiles can sniff out enemy NPCs if you get one of the enemy ambush missions.
2. Bati 801RR. - That is, if you can't afford an Oppressor MK II this the best alternative since it's still fast to get around the map and you can find it around the streets for free or you can buy it for $15,000. Make sure to wheelie as much as you can since it becomes one of the fastest bike in the game while doing a wheelie. You can still get back to the second Post Op van (if your quick), second Garbage truck, second bike deliveries and second boat and still complete those missions with time to spare.
3. Oppressor MK II (Optional). - You can also spawn it as a MC president in the interaction menu and if your not an MC president or you can still call it anytime by going into the Terrorbyte services in the interaction menu and spawning it from there or just call the mechanic if you don't own the Terrorbyte yet.
- You can maintain full speed by boosting and wiggling the thumbstick up and down without pressing the accelerator button, just keep boosting while wiggling the thumbstick up and down for fastest travel time. Don't press the accelerator while doing this trick otherwise the boost won't regenerate.
- Reason why it's optional is because it's expensive and you need a Terrorbyte to customize it and a Nightclub to own a Terrorbyte.
4. Cargobob (Optional). - This is for the Import/Export sell mission. Use it if your selling the vehicle in a solo public lobby since enemy NPCs in blue Sultan RS will spawn and damage the car which reduces the final amount of money you get when you delivered in a location. Make sure to fly it high enough otherwise the enemies NPCs can still damage the car.
6. Post Op vans (Optional). - This is for practicing driving the Post Op vans around so you can be more prepared in case you get the nightmarish Post Op van sale mission for the MC Businesses. More on step 4 "Solo Post Op van tips" part. It only costs $59,850 buy it now or $45,000 trade price and it's a Pegasus vehicle.
The main money making guide tips and steps.
I recommend doing the steps in a solo public session. This is not only to avoid griefers and tryhards but this guide may spread to the popular GTA online money grinding youtubers such as TheProfessional, Tylerious or maybe even Ghilliemaster and this guide may get very popular that more players will be doing this guide so most likely someone else will be doing a Terrorbyte mission, Sightseer, Headhunter or any other VIP work. See GTA Online Mega Guide thread on how to go in a solo public lobby. Or you can just keep finding a new session until you're in a solo public lobby or in a session your happy with full of friendly players who don't do Terrorbyte client missions, Sightseer and Headhunter. If you want to do the Casino Heist or other jobs then set your MTU back to 1500 otherwise you can't join a heist or other activities with low MTU.
Get the Arcade with the Master Control Terminal. The Master Control Terminal allows you to buy supplies in one building instead of having to fly to different businesses to resupply. However sell product from the actual businesses location because if you sell from the Master Control Terminal then you'll have to drive or fly to that business to begin selling which could cost valuable time.
Before you start the steps. (If you have a Nightclub). If you have a nightclub and five technicians then put them on Cargo/Shipments (Hanger), Sporting goods (Bunker), South American imports (Cocaine), Pharmaceuticals (Meth) and Cash Creation (Counterfeit cash). Once Pharmaceuticals and Cash Creation is full then move those technicians to Organic Produce (Weed) and Printing and Copying (Document Forgery). Ignore this part if you don't have a nightclub.
Business battles (Optional). If your in a lobby with three other players and a business battle starts. You can collect the crate or vehicle with the crates. Once you finished, delivering the product to your nightclub then continue what your doing.
Make sure your nightclub popularity is full. (Optional) You can make a small profit with the nightclub safe. At any time in the steps if your nightclub popularity is full in the pre step and the the game tells you your safe is $20,000 just go back to your nightclub and book another DJ to make the nightclub popularity full again and wait until the game tells you have $40,000 and re-book another Dj and keep grinding until you reach $60,000. If it reaches $70,000 collect the money straight away and wait until the game tells you, that you have $10,000 in the safe and re-book another DJ and keep repeating this process. Make sure to change DJs every 90 minutes to avoid losing popularity.
Here's the Reddit thread that explains it all.
https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/95crke/nightclub_profit_and_popularity_guide_not/ If you have a Terrorbyte. Spawn it and start up Import/Export source vehicle or Special cargo missions since it's faster to go in rather than going all the way to your CEO office or Master Control Terminal depending where you are on the map.
Always do Headhunter in Los Santos. The targets are more closer in Los Santos. Blaine County targets are more spread out so it'll take longer to do it there. Make sure your completely in Los Santos since even starting Headhunter in Vinewood Hills, you'll still get Blaine County targets.
Play in free aim lobbies. The chances of being attacked or griefed by a tryhard is slightly lower than in auto aim. But they are still plenty of them, just not as much as auto aim. Your more likely to get placed in a peaceful lobby and if you do get attacked by a tryhard or griefer then find a new session since they're just wasting your time and to also protect your cargo since you only lose a little bit when you find a new session or close the application.
Also there's less players on free aim than auto aim so your more likely to find a lobby with less players.
PC only, If you see a modder or a cheater in your session. Find a new session immediately since they may try to give you cheated money and get you falsely banned. They may also try to grief you with the use of mods.
If nightclub safe is full at $70,000. Make sure to collect the money ASAP so more money can be stored in the safe.
If your flying a Buzzard or any vehicles or aircraft with homing missiles around in a peaceful lobby.
Make sure to use the homing missiles only when you need to use them such as killing enemy NPCs or Headhunter targets. One you finished using them then switch to the machine guns or non homing mode or the barrage missiles (if your in a Hunter) until you need to use the homing missiles again. This is to stop scaring other players who are in another aircraft or in a vehicle on the ground and it's also to prevent accidental firing of the homing rocket that's locked on to friendly players.
Terrorbyte client missions are quick and easy. Finishing Targeted Data, Diamond Shopping and Robbery in Progress gets you an easy $31,000 in just 3-4 minutes of work. You'll need a drone station to do Targeted data though.
Stealing supplies is NOT worth it anymore if your Bunker and MC Businesses have full upgrades. Steal missions take too long to do and it can take up to two or three hours to fill all your businesses. You can do the pre step and step 2 to easily pay off your supplies investment and even make some more money in the two and a half hours period before the businesses and Bunker stops producing due to lack of supplies. Good thing about this Casino heist DLC is that they include the Master Control Terminal where you can buy supplies for your businesses in one place instead of having to drive or fly to different locations.
The only time where I recommend stealing the supplies is when you don't have the upgrades yet on your Bunker or MC Businesses.
If you have an associate in your CEO. If you have friends or a random person in your CEO, after you finished a Terrorbyte mission, do Point to point and share the money for an extra $5,250. Your associate can get paid well and still have fun grinding. Also if your in an MC then promote your friend or associate to Road Captain so they can use the non weaponized Buzzard or Havok (if they own one).
Don't waste money on junk. One of the main reasons why players go broke and resort to buying Shark cards or give up on the game altogether. You don't need to own everything in the game and get a Deluxo or the latest supercar just because your friends and "everyone" has one. The clothes you only need are heavy heist vests for classic heists, quad lens helmets and scuba outfit. Supercars are only good for driving around the map and for races but not for missions. You can get around the map faster with a Buzzard. If your gonna buy a super car then buy the one that tops Broughy1322's tests.
The steps below are assuming you have the full day off from school or work and want to grind all day. Note: The main steps are only if you have the CEO Office, Vehicle Warehouse, Bunker (Fully upgraded), MC Clubhouse, MC Businesses (Coke, Meth and Cash all fully upgraded), Nightclub, Terrorbyte and Arcade with Master Control Terminal. Also the tips below the steps are from my experience of grinding and selling cargo. Pre step: Buy supplies for your Bunker and MC Businesses.
Make sure they're empty so sell whatever you have before buying supplies. Also set spawn location in the Arcade.
- Buy Supplies for your Coke, Meth, Cash and Bunker using the Master Control Terminal in the Arcade.
- Make sure you have a stop watch and set it to two and a half hours.
Step 1: Import/Export method (Best time to money ratio).
- Source vehicle.
- Sell vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Source a vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Do Headhunter.
- Sell vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Source vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Do Headhunter.
- Sell vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Repeat 8-13 or move to step 2.
Import/Export sell tips. - Always sell to Specialist dealer for the most money.
- If you sold the vehicle with a Cargobob, land the Cargobob near your office and start Sightseer then do Headhunter.
- To only source top range vehicles, make sure you have 10 standard range, 10 mid range and 0 top range. If you have any dupes of a standard or mid range car, make sure to sell it and get another different car in that range.
- If your in a solo public lobby enemy NPCs will spawn in a blue Sultan RS and will attack you and damage the vehicle.
- If you own a Cargobob and your in a solo public lobby just simply carry the vehicle to its destination. Make sure to fly high though since there's the NPCs can still spawn and shoot the car if your still low.
- If you don't own a Cargobob and your in a solo public lobby, keep driving the car and as soon as you see a enemy NPC red circle on the map, get out of the car immediately and kill the NPCs. There's four waves of them (two blue Sultan RS with two NPCs inside each of them per wave). Once you kill them then you can safely deliver the car to it's destination.
- If your lazy getting out of the car. Drive past the first batch of NPCs then slow down once the red marker disappears but don't go too fast otherwise a new batch spawns and don't go too slow either otherwise the first batch will catch up. If done right, you shouldn't lose more than $2000 per sale.
Tips for vehicle sourcing missions, read this thread. https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/5tzgfk/guide_for_vehicle_cargo_imports/ Step 2: Special cargo method. (Optional)
Special cargo method with a warehouse. It's only if you want to mix things up a bit since doing the same I/E method over again can be efficient but boring. - Steal three crates.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Steal three crates.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Steal another three crates. You should have nine after you delivered those crates.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Do one cycle of the I/E method above. (Do 1-5 on the Step 2: Import/Export method).
- Sell crates or continue filling up the warehouse.
- Repeat 1-8.
- (Optional) If continuing filling up the warehouse, repeat 1-9. (You don't have to do the cycle again but it's up to you if you want to)
- Sell the crates.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
After finishing a source mission. If you go the vehicle mission then do Headhunter then do a Terrorbyte mission. If you get vehicle missions back to back and Headhunter's still cooling down then simply do a Terrorbyte mission and source another three crates. If you got a three crate pickup mission, then just do a Terrorbyte mission and source another crate after.
Special cargo tips. - Use Buzzard or Oppressor MK II to collect crates since it's faster.
- To know if you got a vehicle or three crate missions, pause and check the map. If your warehouse your sourcing the crate for is not on the map then you got a vehicle mission but if the warehouse is on the map then you'll have to collect three crates separately.
- If you have a Oppressor MK II and you see the warehouse is not on the map then don't use it because you have to leave the Oppressor behind after collecting the vehicle which has the crates and you have to go to the location to pick the Oppressor up.
- If the warehouse is on the map then use the Oppressor MK II to collect the crates since you have to collect them separately.
- If your a solo player who plays in solo public lobbies make sure to get the Armor upgrade for the plane and Brickade because there maybe enemy NPCs coming after you and the speed upgrade for the Tug since it's very slow.
- If you do get a plane mission where you have to air drop the cargo, go to the airport with a Buzzard or Hydra and enter the plane as usual but get out and get in your Buzzard or Hydra and scout the drop off points for enemy NPC Buzzards and Valkyries. If you do see them then make sure to destroy them at all drop off points. The enemy NPC Buzzards and Valkyries with the explosive rounds can ruin your sale. Once your done destroying them then you should have enough time to go back the to airport and finish your sales.
For more tips with special cargo read this thread. https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/4nszzk/crate_profits_v20_updated_to_111_crates/ Step 3: Selling the Bunker and MC Product.
This is a solo method on how to do MC Businesses and Bunker 100% solo. Sourcing and selling top range cars after selling the MC product and disbanding MC and registering as CEO.Read before doing step 3. - If the I/E vehicle is still on a cooldown after selling MC product then do a Terrorbyte mission and maybe even Headhunter and the cooldown should more than likely finish.
Step 3. - Sell Coke.
- Disband MC and register as CEO and steal a top range vehicle and sell straight away.
- Sell Meth.
- Steal top range vehicle and sell.
- Sell Cash.
- Steal top range car and sell.
- Sell the Bunker.
- Steal top range car and sell.
- Stealing top range car and selling it pretty much pays off buying supplies assuming you haven't caused a combined total of more than $5000 while sourcing and selling the vehicle.
Fast step 3 (If your short on time and need to do something else). - Sell Coke.
- Sell Meth.
- Sell Cash.
- Sell Bunker.
- Pretty much skips the steal and sell car part since the MC Business and Bunker sell missions can take about an hour to finish.
What you'll get when buying one batch of supplies for you Bunker and MC Businesses (Coke, Meth and Cash). Note: This is with the Equipment and Staff upgrades.
- You'll always get $140,000 local or $210,000 remote for the Bunker.
- All Bunker sell missions can be done solo since buying supplies gives you $140,000 ($210,000 remote) and anything equal or less than $175,000 local means you'll get one vehicle.
- You'll mostly get $112,000 local or $168,000 remote (2 bars) for the Coke but sometimes you'll get $84,000 local or $126,000 remote (1.5 bar).
- You'll mostly get $95,200 local or $142,800 remote (2 bars) for the Meth but sometimes you'll get $107,100 local or $160,650 remote (just over 2 bars).
- You'll always get $98,000 local or $147,000 remote (2.5 bars) for the Cash.
Bunker and MC Business sell tips. - ALWAYS sell far for more profits.
- One and a half bar is the max for one vehicle.
- Two and a half bars is max for two vehicles and anything more then you'll get three.
- Two vehicles are do able from the Sandy Shores business. (Yes even two Post OP vans can be done from the cocaine business without using the Oppressor MK II to get back, you only need a upgraded Bati 801RR).
- Make sure to register as president inside the MC Business and disband straight away after you sell product from your biker business. This is to avoid getting raided. To disband straightaway after selling the product, just simply go into your interaction menu and keep mashing the X button (PS4) or A button (Xbox one) or keep clicking disband if your on PC.
- For faster travelling to your MC business if your doing Step 3 fast is to disband MC and register as CEO and spawn a Buzzard.
For more info about the MC Businesses. https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/55vwyl/bikers_work_challenges_contracts_and_business/ https://www.gtaboom.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/bikersbusinesses.png Solo Post OP van tips. I Know people give up on the MC Businesses all because of the Post OP aka Slow OP vans and I can understand why since the vans are very slow and the drops are far apart but reading this will give you confidence to do the MC Businesses again.
This Post OP Van tips are based off having the Sandy Shores/Grand Senora Desert MC Businesses.
- Make sure to practice driving them. So buy a Post Op van in the Warstock cache and carry (it only costs $59,850 buy it now or $45,000 trade price and it's a Pegasus vehicle) and practice driving them around and curb boosting so you can get comfortable driving it. Also practice evading traffic with it. Another thing to do is experiment which steep hills are faster to reverse on and where it's better to go forward.
- Once you reach Los Santos then curb boost as much as possible. You should be able to get back to the second van on time with a Bati 801RR if you can't afford an Oppressor MKII.
- If you are approaching a very steep hill that drastically slows the Post Op van to a crawl like the one in Vinewood hills then reverse since it's faster than driving up it. Do a J-turn once you reach the top and approaching downhill.
- Avoid crashing into traffic otherwise you'll lose time since the van is slow to accelerate.
- As mentioned on the MC guide, buying full supplies once means your Coke will mostly be two bars but sometimes one and a half bar. Meth will be mostly be two or sometime just over two bars and the Cash will always finish on two and a half bars. You'll be safe in getting two vehicles or Post OP vans in this case.
- I've tested it from the Sandy Shores businesses (Coke, Meth and Cash only) that you can finish two Post OP van sales with an upgraded Bati 801RR if you can't afford the Oppressor.
- Make sure to wheelie back with the Bati 801RR as much as possible and avoid crashing or you'll lose some precious time.
- Instead of following the way point the game gives you, mark your own way point to the east Los Santos drops since driving on Senora Road is faster than going up the hills and start from the east drops and follow the way point to your next drop in central Los Santos or Vinewood hills except if there's another east Los Santos drop then go to that drop next.
- If an easternmost drop is in central Los Santos then you better off following the way point the game gives you even though it leads you to a hill. If the hill gets very steep then reverse and do a J-turn once the gradient reduces and you feel that it's faster to go forwards. If you get the Post OP Van mission at the Meth business in Grand Senora Desert then reverse up the steep dirt road for better acceleration ad follow the waypoint the game gives you but only if the easternmost drop is in Los Santos otherwise set a waypoint there and follow it, it leads you to a much quicker main road than the slower steep dirt road.
Step 4 (Optional): Continue doing the step 1 I/E cycle or Step 2 Crates cycle.
If you don't want to do this part for whatever reason then skip to step 5.
Step 5: Selling the Nightclub.
Once you finish doing Step 3 or Step 4 then it's time to sell the Nightclub.
- Sell all the product via the special orders for a bonus if there is no special orders then sell all.
- Source and sell top range Import/Export vehicle.
- Do Terrorbyte mission.
- Do Headhunter.
- If there's money in both the Arcade and Nightclub safe, just collect it, also go to the Casino and spin the wheel.
- Wait for the game to auto save and you should be done for the day.
Alternative steps.
Simple method. (For players who don't have lots of time to play but still want to do the steps). Step 2 is not needed. - Do the pre step.
- Do Step 1.
- Keep repeating Step 1 I/E cycle until the two and a half hour timer is up.
- Do fast step 3.
- Once you sold the MC Businesses then sell nightclub and you should be done for the day.
Simple Sightseer, Headhunter and Terabyte client mission cycle. (Best to do in an invite only session). - Find a car and sell to Los Santos Customs.
- Start Headhunter.
- Do Terabyte client mission.
- Do Sightseer.
- Do Headhunter.
- Do Terabyte client mission.
- Do Sightseer.
- Do Headhunter.
AFK Solo Method.
What you'll need. - CEO Office.
- Special cargo warehouse.
- Vehicle warehouse (Optional).
- MC Clubhouse so you can buy the MC Businesses.
- Bunker with Equipment and Staff Upgrades.
- MC Business Coke, Meth, Cash, Weed and Document Forgery. Only Coke, Meth and Cash need the Equipment and Staff upgrades since I don't recommend using the Weed and Document Forgery businesses, Weed and Document Forgery is so you can supplement the Nightclub business.
- Nightclub with equipment, security upgrades and level five storage upgrade so you can store more product while AFK and also get all five technicians. Staff upgrades are optional since the staff upgrade is to slow down the Nightclub property loss which in my opinion the extra money gained in the safe is really just a bonus. For more info about the Nightclub business see this thread: https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/920vm3/mine_and_your_experience_with_the_after_hours_dlc/
- Arcade with Master Control Terminal.
Steps for AFK solo method. - Buy supplies for Bunker, Coke, Meth and Cash using the Master Control Terminal in the Arcade. With the Nightclub, set the five technicians to South American Imports, Cargo and Shipments, Pharmaceutical Research, Sporting Goods and Cash Creation first.
- Now start an easy contact mission in your apartment and go to the couch where the in game TV is and watch it. Once you sit down, then press the right D-Pad to make sure your watching the in game TV otherwise you may get kicked out due to idling or you could stay indoors and rubberband the right thumbstick so the camera moves in circles. Starting a contact mission and doing this AFK method means you won't pay utility bills and you cannot get raided, on top of that you won't lose any Nightclub popularity.
- Keep controller charging.
- Leave the console or PC on but turn off your real life TV or monitor your using to play the game. If your playing on you real life TV then you can change channels and watch what program you like.
- Do whatever you want outside the game such as school, work or whatever things you need to do, you can even leave your console/PC on overnight if you want.
- When your ready to comeback, turn your TV/monitor on and finish the contact mission. If South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research is full then assign the two other technicians to Organic Produce and Printing and Copying since there's seven types of product and there's only five technicians to collect them assuming you bought all of the technicians. If South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research isn't full yet then continue to AFK until they're filled up or you can also sell MC Businesses and Nightclub at this point if you want or otherwise continue to number 7.
- Once South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research is finally full, set technicians to Organic Produce and Document Forgery. Start another easy contact mission to AFK again.
- Now once Organic Produce and Printing and Copying is filled up (takes 26.6 and 15 hours respectively to fill up), you can either sell the Bunker and MC Businesses or continue to AFK until Sporting Goods and Cargo and Shipments fill up. (Scroll up and follow step 3 or fast step 3 while selling the Bunker and MC Businesses).
- Repeat 1-6 or 1-8.
Additional AFK tips. - IMPORTANT: Make sure your console or PC is in a well ventilated area and no objects or wall obstructing the vent fans while doing this method and make sure it's breathing freely otherwise it may overheat.
- If your tight on power bills and need to save as much power in real life then I don't recommend doing this method otherwise you maybe paying more in energy bills than usual. Having solar panels help in places where it's sunny most of the time.
- Make sure your internet's good otherwise if it fails; your automatically going to get kicked out of the session.
- Make sure to put a sleep or rest mode timer on your console or PC. This is to rest the console or PC and not waste unnecessary power bills since you don't make money while on the alert screen. It's useful should your internet fail or the lobby wants to vote kick you or any other reason that may get you kicked out of the lobby. The console or PC will not go into rest mode while still watching the in game TV or security camera, it's only if your on the alert screen.
- If your going on holiday for more than three days; make sure to turn off your console otherwise the Nightclub, Bunker and MC Businesses will be full by then and won't make more money until all product is sold. This is because you'll be paying approximately $10,000 in game bills every 48 minutes and it will slowly eat away whatever money you have assuming your not registered as a MC President or CEO or if you AFK while not doing a mission. Assuming your not in a contact mission of course. This tip is mainly to save real life power bills.
- Make sure your not registered as a CEO or MC President while AFK because you'll lose $9,400 on Bunker utilities and $25,200 on MC Business utilities every 48 minutes (assuming you have all the upgrades and all MC Business types). Note being a MC President loses you both the $25,200 and $9,400 per 48 minutes wheres being a CEO only loses $9,400 per 48 minutes. Not really significant if you AFK while doing a contact mission since you won't pay any bills and you won't get raided, also your Nightclub won't lose popularity.
- Another reason not to register as a CEO or MC President while AFK is because you can get raided. If your indoors and your registered as a CEO or MC President, the game will kick you out of a building and force you to defend your Nightclub.
- Like on the Step 3 tips, make sure to register as a president inside the MC Businesses and disband immediately after selling so you can't get raided.
If board from doing the steps.
Grinding the same steps over and over again can get boring overtime. - I recommend doing the Casino Heist for bonus money and to mix things up a bit.
- Help other people sell their product.
- Do other activities such as survival, contact missions, original Heist and Doomsday Heist.
- Help other people finish their original Heist because there's still plenty of players out there who haven't finished the original heist yet.
- Have other people help you while you do the steps. This is to help make the person with you plenty of money and it'll make you proud that they're getting money with you.
- Do the AFK solo method above should the grind get boring.

Moonshine Business Doubts
I hope I'm wrong, but am I the only one who thinks that this business will be very bare bones?
- Firstly, the 3 roles we got were basically the first real content drop since launch in the end of 2018, and, while fun yes, Im sure we can all agree that they are now very repetitive now. So in saying that, this DLC has has about 3 months of time since the frontier pursuits, and the moonshiner role is an 'offshoot' of the trader role, as you need to be level 5 or whatever to access it, leading me to think it will probably be similar boring long deliver rides, except just moonshine related.
- Secondly, the 'clubhouse' type property you get where you can invite other players over always, at least in my experience with gta, is a complete waste of money, as almost never do you see anyone enter your properties as there is literally nothing to do within them. The only reason to have the property is because it is usually forced on you if you want to start the 'actual content', in this case the moonshine business.
- Thirdly, GTA Online is getting a Casino Heist update, and as we all know, GTA Online is a much larger priority than red dead for Rockstar. As such, I get the impression that the small team on Red Dead Online might've thrown something together quickly in the moonshiners business, that was an 'off-shoot' of the traders businesses, in order to say basically, "We gave you guys Christmas Content", but was really a re-skined trader role - in order to then allow more focus on an anticipated casino heist update.
- Fourthly, the Outlaw Pass v2. Awesome. Not problems here. Just hope we can seperate the clothing on the outfits we can unlock this time :D
So yeah, thats my thoughts. Hopefully im wrong and this turns out to be an awesome DLC that nobody expected, but I just can't see that happening, and feel like it might get old after a short while, especially if it is so closely related to the trader role. Either way, im not intending to start an argument with anyone, but I think my points are valid, so I was just interested to see if anyone had similar or differing thoughts on the Moonshiner Role?

GTA Online property location guide
General rule of thumb: do not buy businesses in Paleto Bay, the only exception is if you
really like to run Doomsday Heist Act 2 finale, in which case this is the best location (terrible for all other acts). Yes, they are cheap but it's a pain in the ass to do anything from all the way north.
Locations in the city are always more expensive but the most expensive spots are not always the best spots!
I will try to not go into business specifics, for moneymaking guides see
/gtaonline's pinned weekly Mega Guide thread.
Related:
Beginners guide: Properties ranked by necessity Apartments and garages
You can purchase apartments after reaching Rank 5. Location doesn't matter generally, though you might want to keep a few things in mind.
You can set apartments as a spawning location, you will spawn there when joining a freeroam session (not when leaving from a job).
There are apartments that can be used to set up heists, you may want to choose a location for your heist apartment near a highway access point as quite a lot of heist setups play in Blaine County.
Most apartments come with a garage, but you can also buy standalone garages, these are slightly cheaper than buying an apartment with the same size garage. You can not set standalone garages as your spawning location.
Offices
Buying an office will allow you to become a permanent CEO (as opposed to a VIP which is temporary). It also comes with a lot of purchasable extras. Interior layout is always the same.
- You can buy Accomodation which will grant access to a wardrobe and allow you to set this property as a spawning point.
- The gun locker extra is not that very useful, it allows you to set up a custom weapon loadout, hiding weapons you don't wish to use. This loadout only works in Freeroam and even there it will be disabled by some jobs (usually those that provide you with a specific weapon).
- The money safe is completely useless. Don't buy it if you are short on money.
- You can buy 3 separate garages with it, each hold 20 cars over 3 levels which are connected by stairs.
- There is also a Custom Auto Shop to purchase, it allows you to do Benny's customizations on your vehicles, though you can not sell your vehicles here (obviously).
Locations
The cheapest Office is Maze Bank West at $1m base price. It's a decent location but with a horrible roof helipad access (lots of stairs). Also most people will have this so if you play in populated lobbies, be wary of hostiles. Highway access nearby, a couple blocks away.
The next one is Arcadius Business Center in Downtown Los Santos, next to the Del Perro Highway at $2.25m base price. The roof access is slightly better than Maze Bank West but not by much. The garages can be accessed from the underground parking lot (where you can't sprint for some weird Rockstar reason).
Lombank West is 1 block away from Maze Bank West and it costs $3.1m. It has the best roof access of all of the offices. You can parachute straight to Del Perro Beach where you can spawn Personal Aircraft (stored in Hangar). It also probably has the best view of all offices. The garage access is terrible though, vehicles with a low base and a tendency to burn out (such as the Hermes) might get stuck trying to exit.
Maze Bank Tower in Downtown LS (near Arcadius) is the worst of the four in effectiveness. It costs $4m at its base price, it's the tallest office, meaning if you want to land on the helipad for quick entrance (press E on PC, probably honk interaction on controllers), you have to gain a lot of altitude. It also has the worst front door and garage access. The view is okay from inside. Roof helipad access has stairs, same as Arcadius.
(Special Cargo) Warehouses
Sourcing missions can be all over the city, sometimes even outside. Always try to get one with an easy highway access because even if you use a helicopter or other nefarious flying vehicle to get to the product, you may still have to drive it back to the warehouse.
Best locations for large warhouses are: Wholesale Furniture in Cypress Flats ($1.9m, cheapest), and Darnel Bros Warehouse in La Mesa ($3.5m, most expensive).
Vehicle Warehouses
9 locations. Can be spawning point by default. While the cheapest has a good highway access (La Mesa), it is a very popular spot for its price so you may have to be wary in populated lobbies, as players like to camp it to steal your sourced vehicles, or just to destroy them (watch for proximity mines). It's also in a gang neighbourhood so if shots are fired (by NPCs chasing you) you might get shot at by them, causing damage to your delivered vehicle. Some of the other locations are too far away from highways, anything on the southern side of the map is probably a bad idea.
La Puerta and Murrieta Heights locations are pretty good and no gang presence nearby. Davis is a very good location too but it's on the border of two opposing gangs.
Clubhouses
Will allow you to become an MC President and also run MC Businesses. You can monitor the production progress of your Businesses from here. You can also start MC Contracts (similar to VIP jobs, they even share cooldowns) and upgrade it with a Custom Bike Shop, allowing you to do Benny's customization on your bikes (where applicable). Naturally it also allows you to store 10 motorbikes. You can also set it as your spawning point.
Most MC Contracts take place in or near the city and even if your Businesses are in Blaine County (more on this later) you might want to have your Clubhouse in the city so you can more easily check on your businesses remotely (having an Arcade totally negates this need though, more on that later).
There are two interior layout variants, one with a second floor (such as Vespucci Beach) and one with only ground floor (such as Del Perro).
MC Businesses
For MC Businesses, the main thing about location is that you can sell to a local region (default price) or to a remote location (higher price, you want to choose this). If your business is in Blaine County, the remote location is in Los Santos city, and vice versa. For this reason having any businesses in the southern part of the map (Elysian Island, Terminal etc) or in Paleto Bay/Grapeseed is a very bad idea. Either buy them in the northern parts of Los Santos or in the southern parts of Blaine County.
So here is the list:
- Cocaine Lockup - Alamo Sea
- Methamphetamine Lab - Grand Senora Desert
- Counterfeit Cash Factory - Grand Senora Desert
- Weed Farm - San Chianski Mountain Range
OR
- Cocaine Lockup - Morningwood
- Methamphetamine Lab - El Burro Heights
- Counterfeit Cash Factory - Vespucci Canals
- Weed Farm - Downtown Vinewood
I omitted Document Forgery for a reason, it's not worth running it.
Bunker
Several upgrades, you can add accomodation to be able to set it as a spawning point. Similarly to MC Businesses you can sell to a local or remote location. Since all of the locations are in Blaine County, the remote sales will always be in or near the city. Therefore Bunker locations that are closer to the city are better, the best three are the following (sorted by price, Farmhouse is the best location-wise):
- Chumash ($1.65m)
- Route 86 ($1.95m)
- Farmhouse ($2.375m) ← this is the best bunker
Hangar
Hangars can be used to store your personal aircraft and to source crates which then you can sell. Two main locations are LSIA and Fort Zancudo, each have three hangar spots but you can only own 1 of the 6 in total. Upgrading with Living Quarters will allow you to set it as a spawning point.
Missions are all around the map but mostly somewhere in the northern parts of the city or the middle section of the entire map. Thus LSIA locations are really a bad choice if you ever want to do Hangar jobs. Otherwise it might be useful because you can only spawn personal aircraft, personal vehicles or CEO vehicles on LSIA grounds if you have a hangar here.
Having a Hangar in Ft Zancudo means you have a low level clearance, you will be allowed on the base and to fly over without getting shot down, this persists in any activity in freeroam.
Without question the best Zancudo hangar is "Fort Zancudo Hangar 3499". This is the westernmost of the three, it's the one with the middle range price with a $2.65m base price, the most expensive one in the middle of the military base is $3.25m and the cheapest on the eastern part is $2.085m.
The two main reasons why the westernmost hangar is the best:
- it's right next to the runway, meaning you can land easily,
- you can actually spawn your personal vehicles or CEO vehicles here. The other two Zancudo hangars have bad spawning points and the vehicles will spawn outside the base.
Facility
Facilities are used in Doomsday Heists. Majority of the preps, setups and finales are in or near the city and all Facilities are in Blaine County, similarly to Bunkers. Therefore it's a good idea to own a Facility somewhere close to the city. Upgrading with Sleeping Quarters will allow you to set it as a spawning point.
Good locations are the following ones (sorted by accesibility):
- Route 68 ($2.3m)
- Zancudo River ($2.1m)
- Lago Zancudo ($1.67m)
- RON Alternates Wind Farm ($1.855m)
The exception is if you are doing Act 2 finales
a lot, in which case you may want to have Paleto Bay, but doing basically every other setup and finale will be a pain in the ass from there.
Nightclub
Again, highway access counts only for the very few setup missions (+getting the DJs the first time). If you have a good highway access, the location doesn't matter much, it's mostly area preference.
La Mesa, Strawberry, Del Perro are all great. Atmosphere-wise probably Del Perro, Strawberry and Vespucci are the best, with the two Vinewood locations if that's your thing.
Arcade
There are two arcades in Blaine County (Paleto Bay and Grapeseed), you should quickly forget about those if you want to host Casino Heists because the finale is in the city and it's a
really long way, not to mention doing all the preps from that far. The only location I would advise against in the city is the Vinewood location (the most expensive) as it's really far from any type of highway, though Del Perro and Davis isn't really great either.
The best arcade is the cheapest in the city: La Mesa. It's very close to the Casino (great for finale) and to 3 highways, and since some of the preps take place very far in Blaine County, you will probably want to use the Avenger or personal aircraft (if you have any) to fly there. It's right next to the Los Santos Storm Drain, where you can spawn personal aircraft and the Avenger. The Terrorbyte spawns 2 blocks away as well.
Yachts
Yachts are probably the last type of property you want to blow money on, as it doesn't really provide much. I also suggest waiting for a sale on yachts as they are insanely overpriced.
There are 3 variants, the exterior differs slightly with every one of them and they come with different boats and helicopter. The GTA wiki has a very detailed list on them:
https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Galaxy_Super_Yacht#Models The cheapest variant, the Orion is not worth it, in my opinion. It's only 1m cheaper ($6m) than the Pisces and it lacks a hot tub and doesn't spawn with a helicopter on the helipad (as far as I know?).
The middle priced variant, the Pisces ($7m) comes with a hot tub and a regular helicopter on one of the helipads (yes, this one has 2).
The most expensive one at a $8m base price, the Aquarius has a more expensive speedboat and helicopter spawning with it. It also has minor changes to the deck.
In my personal opinion the Pisces has the best layout, but I'm sure there are plenty of review videos on YouTube so you can decide for yourself.
It costs $25k to move the yacht every time, you can find a map with all locations (2-3 spots in every location)
here. If the location where you yacht is already taken by another one when joining a session, your yacht will be moved temporarily to the nearest possible location. When you join a session where the spot your yacht was parked originally is free, your yacht will spawn in that location.
